About

Tomek Kołodziejski was born in Warsaw. He studied at the renowned Academy of Art in Warsaw where he got his Master of Arts degree, Cum Laude.

Tomek attended biological-chemical class at a college in Warsaw. In his high-school times he began studying anatomy and portrait sculpture in clay.

After graduation he began studying at the Academy of Art in Warsaw which he finished with a degree of Master of Arts Cum Laude and a Dean's Award for the "Best Student".

During his studies he worked in different materials: stone, metal, concrete, clay, wood, ceramic and plaster.

At the Sculpture Dept. he studied at Professors Stanisław Słonina and Stanisław Kulon. It was at that time that he learned conservation and restoration of stone sculptures from Professors Adam Roman and Andrzej Koss. He finished his studies with the best note and Department President's Award. He was also granted a scholarship of Polish Ministry of Culture designed to the Best Young Creator of Art.
